Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

Red Ribbon Club is the global symbol for solidarity with people living with HIV and AIDS and it aims at uniting the people in the common fight against the virus that is waging a war against humanity. Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a movement by the government of India in educational institution through which students make awareness campaign of AIDS and HIV.

Red Ribbon Club is a voluntary on-campus intervention aimed at heightening the risk perception and preventing HIV/AIDS among the youth. Through RRC youth are encouraged to learn about safe and healthy lifestyles. RRC empower stuednts in the age group of 17-25 by giving them information and life skills to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS and by changing the most active amongst them into peer educators.

Bailey Baptist College, in line with the governmental policies, established the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) to join the global fight against HIV/AIDS and to protect the life of each student in the college. The RRC of the college is very active and organises programs in order to educate the young minds in dealing with the virus.
